Preserving SearchHistory
I designed and began implementing a BigQuery workflow to preserve Search Console data, supporting long-term analysis and reduce dependence on a limited reporting window.

Historical search evidence was disappearing faster than the reporting questions.

Native Search Console history
Search Console retains a limited historical window in its interface. That made longer-range comparisons and retrospective analysis difficult unless data was preserved elsewhere.
The solution needed to support recurring exports as well as previously downloaded historical files.

05 · Reflection
Data retention is part of measurement strategy.
A reporting system cannot answer long-term questions if the underlying evidence quietly expires. Preserving the data early is less costly than reconstructing it later.
